Established in 2011 by Melissa Rayner, we’re a home bakery, absolutely passionate about making cakes that look and taste amazing!
We love to make creative cakes for every occasion, made with really good quality ingredients and attention to detail.
We can deliver your cakes to anywhere in the Canterbury area, or you can collect from our home kitchen in Chartham, Canterbury.
We freshly bake all our orders so make sure you contact us in good time, especially for end of week/weekend dates.

Whether you are planning a vintage style wedding or a contemporary celebration, a tiered cake or a cupcake tower, elegant or rustic, we absolutely love to design cakes around the theme and style of your special day.
Working from our home kitchen, we provide a friendly and professional service, from the initial contact to the setting up of your cake at your reception venue.
All our cakes are freshly made, and our sponges are light and moist. Each cake tier has three layers of cake inside with two layers of delicious fillings to enjoy!

As you can imagine, wedding cakes can vary considerably in size, detail and decoration. Prices for tiered cakes start from £250.00 for a naked sponge cake (2019 dates). Wedding cupcakes start from £2.00 each.
Best thing is to email us first of all and we will happily give you an initial quote for what you have in mind. Remember to tell us your wedding date and venue, how many guests you will have, and roughly what you have in mind in terms of cake style and design.
We also enjoy meeting you and offer Wedding Cake Consultations so you can chat through your ideas with us in more detail and try some of our cake at the same time.
Our next Wedding Cake Consultation days are Saturday 29th September [now full], Saturday 24th November and Saturday 26th January. Consultations are by appointment only. Drop us an email to book your place.
Wedding Consultations run on set days every other month excluding June – August. Consultations can be done before or after you have booked in with us, we leave that bit up to you. Equally, please don’t worry if dates or distance make attending difficult. They are in no way obligatory to booking in a wedding cake with us and we can happily chat by email or phone if this is easier.
When should I book? 12-18 months ahead of your wedding date is very helpful, especially for June – September dates. You may strike lucky with a shorter timescale but please don’t leave it too late to book in your wedding cake with us as we do get booked up quickly.

Allergies: please advise us of any allergies at the time of booking. We use nuts in our kitchen from time to time. We can cater for gluten-free for some of our recipes.
Cakes can be collected or we can deliver within the Canterbury area for £5.00. We may be able to travel a little further afield, contact us and we can let you know what's possible.
Cake Stands: we have a lovely range of stands for hire. Hired items must be returned in the same condition and within two working days of the order date.
Payment can be by BACs online transfer, Paypal or cash. A non refundable deposit secures your order and we ask for full payment to clear no later than a week before your order. We don't do 'cash on collection'.
For weddings, a £50.00 non refundable deposit is required to confirm your order and the remaining balance is due a month beforehand.
Please note an enquiry does not secure a date for you. A date is secured and a booking confirmed when a deposit or payment is received.
